Infection Control Statement

Infection prevention and control is the work an organisation does to identify potential risks for spreading infection between patients (and between patients and staff) and the measures it takes to reduce that risk. The Practice takes its responsibility to do this very seriously.

All staff within the Practice, no matter what their position, receive regular training in infection prevention and control and take responsibility for their own role in this.

The Practice is actively committed to the fight against the spread of Covid-19 and, as such, has introduced various measures to minimise the risks ; hand sanitiser, masks, social distancing and regular cleaning of touchpoints within the waiting area.  We ask that all patients help us by adhering to the guidelines set out by the Department of Health.
