Routine Appointments
May be arranged by contacting the Medical Centre up to two
weeks in advance. Please be punctual. Please let us know if
you cannot keep your appointment. Remember, one person only
per appointment please. Appointments can be arranged with
the doctor of your choice unless your appointment is urgent,
in which case you may be asked to see the doctor on call.

Urgent Appointments

Sick Children
Having consulted with the doctor on call, sick children will
always be seen as soon as possible when brought to the surgery.

Home Visits
If you are too ill to come to the surgery, a home visit can
be requested by telephone when the receptionist will ask you
to provide details of your symptoms. Requests for house calls
should be made whenever possible before 10.00am, so that unnecessary
delays are prevented. Please do not abuse this service, as
it is reserved for housebound and chronically ill patients.

Telephone Advice
A Doctor is available from 10:30 to 11:15 am, Tuesday to
Friday. A Doctor is usually available after 11.15am on Monday.
A Nurse is available between 11.30am and 12.30pm and from
5.30pm to 6.00pm.

Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions can be requested by telephone between
9.30 and 11.30 in the morning and 3.00 and 5.00 in the afternoon.
You may be able to obtain a repeat prescription without seeing
the Doctor
each time. Please allow 48 hours for this to be processed
on the computer.
